CNBlue’s Jeong Yong-hwa is seriously considering a drama comeback next year, but the music will probably come first
After his debut in SBS’s You’re Beautiful, fans have been anxiously awaiting his return to the small screen and 2011 may be the year it will finally happen. Yong-hwa has been busy with his CN Blue activities and his variety show appearances throughout the year, but it seems the drama offers have been piling up for quite some time. Yong-hwa has been considering them all, but it’s a difficult task. Not only do many of the dramas have immense potential, but finding time in his tight schedule has proved to be difficult. While Yong-hwa is hands down the most popular of hte group, the other members are being overwhelmed with offers also. For example, Kang Min-hyuk currently has a role on SBS’s It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl.
While Yong-hwa (who’s been receiving the most offers) turned down many projects in order to record, the group has still been forced to delay their activities in order to accommodate some of the members’ schedules. Although, CN Blue activities can no longer be postponed. An album will likely be relessed in the first half of the year while Yong-hwa may appear in a drama in the second half of the year. If the members’ outside activities become too overwhelming then the CN Blue’s comeback will take a backseat.
My take? I don’t care how it happens, just get my sweet little Shin-woo back on the screen. Preferably a romantic comedy in where he actually ends up with the girl. I just don’t know if I can take another heartbreaking scene in where he has give up the good fight so that the one he loves can be happy. Damn you, Mi-nam/Mi-nyu!! DAMN YOU!
